The 2026 Nissan Teana facelift is set to debut in China, produced by Dongfeng Nissan, a joint venture between Dongfeng and Nissan. Its updated design takes cues from Nissan’s latest electrified sedans.
Although Dongfeng Nissan has not made an official announcement, images of the refreshed Teana have surfaced through filings with China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, revealing clear updates. At the front, the sedan features darker LED headlights paired with a wider grille that incorporates daytime running lights and a more premium pattern. The bumper also gains a larger lower intake, similar to the styling of the Nissan N6 and N7. On the sides, the Teana adds new alloy wheel designs and a two-tone body color option. At the rear, it is fitted with full-width LED light bar taillights featuring illuminated Nissan lettering, while the tailgate and rear bumper have been cleaned up and the exhaust pipes are now hidden. In terms of dimensions, the length has grown by 14 mm to 4,920 mm, while width, height, and wheelbase remain unchanged.
Interior images have not yet been released, but the cabin is expected to feature a redesigned dashboard with a new digital cockpit and updated technology.
Powertrain options include a range-topping 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine producing 240 hp, paired with an Xtronic CVT that simulates eight gears and driving the front wheels. Regulatory filings also mention a new entry-level engine rated at 142 hp, which is lower than the current naturally aspirated 2.0-liter engine that delivers 154 hp.
The 2026 Nissan Teana facelift is expected to launch in China later this year. The outgoing model is currently priced between ¥179,800 and ¥239,800, or approximately 813,000 to 1,085,000 baht.
