MG HS Hybrid+ will launch in Australia in two variants:

• MG HS Hybrid+ Excite priced at AUD 42,990 (approximately THB 910,000)

• MG HS Hybrid+ Essence priced at AUD 46,990 (approximately THB 990,000)

The HS Hybrid+ will compete in the growing mid-size hybrid SUV segment, going up against the top-selling Toyota RAV4, as well as models like the GWM Haval H6 Hybrid, Honda CR-V e:HEV, Hyundai Tucson Hybrid, Kia Sportage Hybrid, Nissan X-Trail e-Power, and the upcoming Subaru Forester Hybrid. Within MG’s lineup, the HS Hybrid+ sits above the MG3 Hybrid+ light hatch and the ZS Hybrid+ small SUV.

The MG HS Hybrid+ is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder petrol-hybrid engine producing 105 kW (142 PS) and 250 Nm of torque, paired with an electric motor delivering 146 kW (198 PS) and 340 Nm of torque. Combined output is 165 kW (224 PS) with peak torque of 340 Nm. The claimed fuel consumption is 19.2 km/l.
