U.S. automotive media outlet Carscoops has revealed spy shots of the facelifted Nissan Pathfinder, which features a redesigned front bumper with smoother lines, a sleeker grille, and headlights that look largely unchanged. However, teaser images suggest there could be new lighting elements integrated into the grille. The rest of the design appears similar to the current model, though the camouflaged rear bumper may be hiding subtle revisions. Nissan could also introduce new taillights.
Inside, minor updates are expected to freshen things up. In addition to infotainment improvements, some trims may replace analog gauges with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, which is currently exclusive to the range-topping Platinum.
The current Pathfinder is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine producing 295 hp and 366 Nm of torque. This engine is expected to carry over, although there’s a possibility Nissan could switch to the 2.0-liter VC-Turbo four-cylinder found in the Infiniti QX60, which delivers 268 hp and 387 Nm of torque.
Carscoops further noted that this is only a minor update rather than a full redesign, with more details expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.
