Ford has launched the Everest Tremor 4×4 in the Middle East market. The highlight of this model is its 2.7-litre twin-turbo V6 EcoBoost petrol engine, the same unit used in the F-150, producing a maximum output of 354 horsepower and 500Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, along with Tremor-specific exterior and interior enhancements, specially tuned Bilstein suspension, and factory-fitted all-terrain tyres. Buyers in other markets may be disappointed, as Ford has stated that the 2.7-litre Everest is a “Middle East–exclusive” model, according to an official statement.
The current Everest Tremor 4×4 sold in Australia is powered by a 3.0-litre turbo-diesel V6 engine, delivering 250 horsepower and 600Nm of torque, also mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission.
