Nissan has partnered with the renowned tuning house Roush Performance, best known for modifying Ford vehicles, to unveil the Nissan Frontier PRO-4X R.
This model is based on the Frontier PRO-4X and has been specially upgraded by Roush. On the exterior, it features a titanium skid plate, titanium grille inserts, and titanium badging, complemented by Lava Red tow hooks and Roush fender emblems. Another highlight is a set of unique 17-inch alloy wheels finished in titanium with black lug nuts and “R” center caps, wrapped in Hankook Dynapro AT2 Xtreme tires.
The interior remains largely unchanged, aside from headrests embroidered with the “R” logo. It continues to offer a 12.3-inch infotainment screen and a 7-inch instrument cluster display.
The most significant upgrade is the new Roush Performance x Öhlins 2.0 Off-Road suspension system, which raises the ride height by 2 inches (51 mm). It includes new upper control arms, coilover shocks with external reservoirs, and lightweight aluminum damper bodies, enhancing approach and departure angles as well as off-road damping performance.
Power comes from the same naturally aspirated 3.8-liter V6 engine producing 310 hp and 381 Nm of torque, paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission.
Pricing for the Nissan Frontier PRO-4X R by Roush starts at $47,960 (approximately 1,550,000 THB).
