Details of the Nissan N6, a new PHEV from Dongfeng-Nissan, have emerged through registration filings on the website of China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). The new model will feature a PHEV system combining a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with an electric motor.
The Nissan N6 is equipped with a naturally aspirated 1.5-liter gasoline engine producing a maximum output of 75 kW (101 PS), paired with an electric motor rated at 155 kW (208 PS). The battery pack is a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) type, supplied by Rept Battero Energy Co., Ltd.
In terms of design, the Nissan N6 closely resembles the Nissan N7, adopting a closed-off front grille with a “Star-Ring” light strip, potentially featuring an illuminated Nissan logo, and boomerang-shaped headlamps. The car also sports hidden door handles. At the rear, it features a lightbar-style taillight with the “NISSAN” lettering positioned in the center, which may also illuminate.
