MG Motor Australia has announced full pricing and specifications for the four-door MG U9 dual-cab pickup, which will be sold in three trim levels:

  • Explore – AUD $52,990 (approx. THB 1,110,000)

  • Explore X – AUD $55,990 (approx. THB 1,173,000)

  • Explore Pro – AUD $60,990 (approx. THB 1,278,000)

 

The U9 is powered by a 2.5-litre turbo-diesel four-cylinder engine producing 160 kW (218 PS) and 520 Nm of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. A selectable 4WD system is standard, including low-range transfer case, dedicated off-road driving modes, and a rear differential lock, while the flagship Explore Pro adds a front differential lock.

 

Fuel consumption is rated at 12.6 km/litre, with CO2 emissions of 208 g/km. The truck features an 80-litre fuel tank, kerb weight of 2,450–2,550 kg, payload capacity of 770–870 kg, braked towing capacity of 3,500 kg, gross vehicle mass (GVM) of 3,320 kg, and a gross combined mass (GCM) of 6,500 kg.
