Tata has officially unveiled the facelifted Tata Punch, featuring sharper exterior styling and a clear upgrade in powertrain performance. The model is priced from Rs. 559,000 (approximately 194,000 baht).
In terms of exterior design, the Tata Punch draws strong inspiration from its larger sibling, the Harrier, particularly at the front. The grille and bumper have been redesigned, featuring split LED headlights, a rugged Bull Guard–style bumper, and a silver skid plate that enhances its SUV-like appearance.
At the rear, the design has been modernized with a full-width LED light bar, while the rear bumper adopts a cleaner and more refined look. The facelift also introduces newly designed 16-inch alloy wheels, along with four new exterior color options.
The facelifted Punch retains its overall length of 3,827 mm, unchanged from the previous model. However, ground clearance has been increased to 193 mm, and water-wading capability now reaches 400 mm, improving its ability to handle rough road conditions and challenging weather commonly found in India.
Inside the cabin, the overall layout remains familiar, though several updates have been made. A 10.25-inch infotainment display works alongside a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, positioned behind a newly designed two-spoke steering wheel. The climate control panel on the center console has been upgraded to a touch-sensitive interface, while the fabric seats have been revised to provide better support and improved comfort.
In terms of equipment, the Punch offers a 360-degree surround-view camera, a sunroof, wireless phone charging, and an eight-speaker sound system. Although advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) are not available, all variants come standard with six airbags.
The key highlight of this facelift lies under the hood. Tata has introduced a 1.2-liter turbocharged gasoline engine producing 118 horsepower, paired exclusively with a six-speed manual transmission. This upgrade delivers a noticeable improvement in driving performance compared to the previous model. The naturally aspirated 1.2-liter gasoline engine, generating 87 horsepower, remains available for buyers focused on fuel efficiency, while a gasoline–CNG bi-fuel version also continues to be offered. The fully electric Punch EV is expected to receive a facelift in the near future as well.
The 2026 Tata Punch is now officially open for bookings in India, with prices starting at Rs. 559,000 (around 194,000 baht) for the base variant and rising to Rs. 1,054,000 (approximately 366,000 baht) for the range-topping model.
