Images of the 2026 Toyota Corolla Altis have been released by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, showing a model that retains its existing body structure but adopts Toyota’s new Hammerhead front-end design. The doors, front fenders, rear quarter panels, and roof remain unchanged from the current model, while the most significant updates are at the front with a new bonnet, front bumper, and headlights. The C-shaped headlights connected to the grille follow the new design language seen on the Camry, C-HR, RAV4, and other new Toyota models sold internationally.
Under the hood, the car comes with a naturally aspirated 2.0-liter petrol engine producing a maximum output of 126 kW (171 PS). The vehicle has also grown slightly, with overall length increased by 75 mm and the wheelbase extended by 50 mm.
