In addition to the limited-run GR Supra A90 Final Edition, Toyota has also unveiled a mildly updated version of the GR Supra for its final year on sale in global markets, including Japan, Europe, and Australia. This version is called the “Lightweight Evo” in Europe and the “Track Edition” in Australia. It features enhancements in both aerodynamics and suspension.
Exterior highlights include a carbon fiber ducktail rear spoiler and new vent designs on the front fenders, both aimed at improving aerodynamic performance. The car rides on 19-inch matte black forged aluminum wheels, wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires, and fitted with Brembo brakes featuring 347 mm front discs. Inside, the cabin is trimmed in Alcantara with red stitching and matching red seatbelts, adding a sporty and premium touch.
The electronically controlled shock absorbers have been retuned, and several suspension components—such as rubber bushings, mounts, and stabilizer bars—have been reinforced. The underfloor bracing has also been strengthened for improved chassis rigidity. A new active differential control system enhances traction and reduces understeer through corners. Other chassis upgrades include optimized electric power steering and increased camber angles for better handling response.
Under the hood, the GR Supra Lightweight EVO retains the familiar 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six engine, producing 382 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque—the same output as before, unlike the power increase seen in the Final Edition. Customers can still choose between a 6-speed manual transmission or an 8-speed automatic.
In addition to the A90 Final Edition and the Lightweight Evo, the GR Supra lineup in Europe and Japan continues to include the standard models with either the 2.0-liter four-cylinder or the 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine options.
