Xpeng P7, an electric sedan-coupe, has revealed its core specifications in China after applying for a sales license. The car measures nearly 5 meters in length and comes equipped with scissor doors, all-wheel drive, and an electric motor with a maximum output of 437 kW (586 hp). Xpeng plans to launch this model in Q3 2025, with a price of around 300,000 yuan (approximately 1.34 million baht).
This version of the Xpeng P7 was previously known by the codename E29. Official images were released on May 15, and the sales license application was submitted on May 23, revealing key specifications. Additionally, Xpeng’s chairman He Xiaopeng has stated that the new P7 will make its public debut in Q3 2025.
The Xpeng P7 features a modern design with smooth body lines, sharp and aerodynamic fenders, slim LED daytime running lights, and seamlessly hidden headlights. It also includes blacked-out A- and B-pillars, flush door handles, and uniquely styled taillights. Optional equipment includes an active rear spoiler, carbon fiber trim elements, and scissor doors. The car comes standard with 20-inch alloy wheels, with 245/45 R20 tires in the front and 265/40 R20 tires in the rear. There's also an option for 21-inch wheels with 245/40 R21 front tires and 275/35 R21 rear tires.
Xpeng P7 is available in 3 variants with the following powertrain configurations:

Entry-level variant (RWD): Uses a permanent magnet motor from Luxshare, delivering 363 hp. It's powered by an LFP battery from EVE Energy (capacity not disclosed), with a curb weight of 2,125 kg and a top speed of 230 km/h.

Long-range variant: Uses the same electric motor but switches to a ternary NMC battery from CALB, reducing the curb weight to 2,090 kg. The top speed remains the same.

All-wheel-drive variant (4WD): Adds an asynchronous front motor made by Xpeng, delivering 223 hp, with a combined system output of 586 hp. It is powered by a CALB ternary NMC battery, with a curb weight ranging from 2,188 to 2,220 kg and a top speed of 230 km/h. This version also comes with large Brembo brakes.
