Honda Motor Co., Ltd. has announced plans to introduce a newly redesigned H mark logo as a symbol of its commitment to driving Honda’s automotive business into the future.
Since its first introduction in 1963 as the emblem for Honda automobiles, the H mark has been consistently used across Honda’s vehicle products and various business activities, undergoing multiple design revisions over the years.
The redesigned H mark has been developed in parallel with Honda’s next-generation electric vehicle development, including the Honda 0 Series lineup. These vehicles are being created under Honda’s philosophy of “creating a new generation of electric vehicles from scratch, returning to the company’s origins as an automobile manufacturer.” Beyond a visual update, the new logo reflects Honda’s determination and corporate vision to continually embrace new challenges and innovations.
The new H mark is scheduled to be gradually adopted across Honda’s next-generation electric vehicles and next-generation hybrid models, beginning with vehicles planned for market launch from 2027 onward.
In addition, Honda plans to expand the use of the new H mark to express the identity of its automotive business in all dimensions, spanning products and every customer touchpoint, including showrooms and service centers, communications, and automotive motorsport activities.
Amid the automotive industry’s major transition toward electrification and intelligent technologies, the new H mark represents the “second rebirth of the Honda brand,” underscoring Honda’s commitment to leading change by delivering new value beyond customer expectations through advanced technologies, creative concepts, and more efficient ways of working.
