Toyota has launched the bZ4X TOURING, which is known as the bZ Woodland in the U.S. market. It will be sold worldwide under the name bZ4X TOURING. Toyota Australia has confirmed that the bZ4X TOURING will be available in Australia in the first half of 2026.
As for the exterior design, it closely resembles the recently updated bZ4X, which Toyota just unveiled. The key difference is the wagon-style body, with a longer rear end compared to the standard model, as well as dark grey trim around the body and roof rails, giving the vehicle a more rugged look. For the U.S. version, the bZ Woodland comes with 18-inch alloy wheels with removable covers, and off-road tires are available as an optional extra.
In terms of dimensions, the bZ4X TOURING is 150mm longer and 25mm taller compared to the standard bZ4X. With a ground clearance of 211mm, the larger body size and more upright rear end increase the boot space to 850 liters.
The bZ4X TOURING is built on the e-TNGA platform and features a dual-motor all-wheel drive system, producing a maximum output of 375 horsepower. While Toyota has not disclosed much about the powertrain, referencing the almost identical Subaru Trailseeker, which shares the same drivetrain, the acceleration from 0-100 km/h is expected to be 4.4 seconds. Toyota has stated that the vehicle will come with an X-Mode system and a Grip-Control function, which help modulate motor drive power for suitable off-road performance.
The bZ4X TOURING is equipped with a 74.7 kWh battery pack, providing a driving range of up to 560 kilometers under the WLTP standard. It supports AC charging with a maximum power of 11 kW and DC fast charging at up to 150 kW. Additionally, it features battery pre-conditioning to reduce charging times.
For the U.S. version, the bZ Woodland will be available in a single trim. The cabin comes standard with SofTex front seats with heating, a dual wireless smartphone charger, and a six-speaker audio system. There is also an option to upgrade to a 9-speaker JBL premium audio system, a panoramic glass roof, ventilated front seats, and a radiant heater.
The vehicle is equipped with the Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 suite of driver assistance systems, which includes:
-
Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control

Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection
