Honda has unveiled the CB1000GT for the first time worldwide — a sport-touring motorcycle equipped with a liquid-cooled DOHC 1,000 cc inline-four engine — at EICMA 2025 in Milan, Italy.
Developed under the concept “High Performance Tourer – going faster, farther with comfort”, the CB1000GT is designed as a new sport-tourer that blends the power and handling of a naked sportbike with the comfort and luggage capacity of a touring motorcycle.
The CB1000GT’s engine is based on the CB1000 Hornet’s 1,000 cc inline-four, delivering 110.1 kW (150 PS) at 11,000 rpm and 102 Nm of torque at 8,750 rpm. The model features dedicated fuel-injection tuning and a throttle-by-wire system exclusively for the CB1000GT.
The chassis uses the CB1000 Hornet’s steel diamond frame, paired with a newly designed subframe to better support a passenger and luggage, improving overall stability. It comes standard with EERA (Electronically Equipped Ride Adjustment) electronic suspension, which uses data from a 6-axis IMU, ECU, and wheel-speed sensors to automatically adjust front and rear damping precisely to road conditions.
Styling reflects its High Performance Tourer character, featuring sharp, premium lines and a sleek aerodynamic front fairing integrated with an adjustable windscreen offering five positions and 81 mm of total vertical adjustment.
Riding modes include Standard, Sport, Rain, Tour, plus User Mode for custom settings. The CB1000GT also includes a Quick Shifter for clutch-less gear changes (except when starting and stopping), reducing fatigue both in city riding and long-distance touring. Honda RoadSync smartphone connectivity with Bluetooth® is standard for hands-free calls and navigation.
A full range of genuine Honda accessories is available, including top cases and panniers for greater luggage capacity, a tall touring windscreen, and a Comfort Seat for enhanced long-distance comfort.
The Honda CB1000GT will first go on sale in Europe, Japan, and then expand to Asia, Oceania, and other global markets.
