Honda unveiled the V3R 900 E-Compressor Prototype, featuring a V3 engine with an electronically-controlled compressor, at EICMA 2025 in Milan, Italy.
The 900cc, 75-degree V3 water-cooled engine is designed to be slim and compact, based on the concept powertrain Honda showcased at EICMA 2024. Its highlight is the electronically-controlled compressor, which delivers strong and immediate torque from low rpm by controlling intake air pressure independently of engine speed. This allows Honda to achieve performance comparable to a 1,200cc engine while also improving emissions.
The bike features a striking exterior design with asymmetrical side fairings and a new Honda Flagship WING tank emblem, which will begin appearing on Honda’s top-tier models starting next year.
