The Dongfeng Nissan N7 was officially unveiled at Auto Shanghai 2025 and will go on sale in China later this month. Its front design features Nissan’s signature V-Motion styling, complemented by LED headlights and daytime running lights incorporating up to 710 mini LED elements. Frameless side doors and flush-mounted handles contribute to an impressively low drag coefficient of just 0.208. At the rear, a full-width OLED light bar includes 882 small OLED lights. When the vehicle is stationary, lighting patterns on both the front and rear can be customized, including animated designs and text projections. The Dongfeng Nissan N7 rides on 19-inch wheels and is available in six exterior colors, with two interior style options.
Under the hood, the N7 offers two lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery options—58 kWh and 73 kWh—both utilizing a 400-volt architecture. Power is delivered by a single front-mounted electric motor producing up to 268 horsepower and 305 Nm of torque. The battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in just 19 minutes, or from 30% to 80% in as little as 14 minutes. Range is estimated at 510 km for the 58 kWh model and up to 635 km for the 73 kWh version. All variants are equipped with MacPherson strut front suspension and multi-link rear suspension.
Inside, the standout feature is the AI-powered adaptive seating system, which adjusts the seat based on input from 49 individual sensors. The seats also include a 12-point massage function, and the driver's seat features a pneumatic leg support extender that stretches up to 60 mm. The central infotainment screen measures 15.6 inches and offers 2.5K resolution, powered by a Snapdragon™ 8295P processor and integrated with DeepSeek-R1 AI. Audio can be configured with up to 14 speakers, including a pair of retractable dash-mounted units. A refrigerated compartment located under the front center armrest can chill drinks down to -6°C or warm them up to 55°C. Additional highlights include 256-color ambient lighting and a large panoramic roof.
